Two day pass is available by JPY 20,000 for encouraging the participation of the scientists in the host country but the fee includes only two day admittance to oral and poster sessions and the conference materials.
Wednesday Excursion (JPY 6,000)
One day trip to Hakone; Lake Ashinoko, Azalea garden in Hôtel de Yama, Former Barrier Checkpoint, and barbeque party.

Travel support
- A limited amount of travel support is available for students and for scientists, who will make a presentation in the conference, preferably from developing countries.
- Applications due by 28 February 2013. Send your application to contact@fogconference2013.org. Include proof of student status (student card or equivalent) and/or professional or scientific status (affiliation, type of position). Response will be given by 15 April 2013.

The 6th International Conference on Fog, Fog Collection and Dew will be held in Yokohama, Japan, 19-24 May, 2013.
The goal of this conference is to bring together people who are interested in any aspect of fog and dew. Both advanced scientific findings and fog collection projects will find a broad audience. Participants will include representatives from universities, the private sector, government and international agencies, as well as educational organizations.
This conference series was started in 1998 in Vancouver, Canada, then visited St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada (2001), Cape Town, South Africa (2004), La Serena, Chile (2007), and Münster, Germany (2010).

The venue for the 2013 conference is a hall in Red Brick Warehouse, a historic building in Yokohama. There are many comfortable hotels, beautiful spots, and shopping centers near the venue.
Yokohama is the second largest city in Japan, and a beautiful harbor town. Yokohama is easily accessible from Tokyo international airports in Narita (about 1.5 to 2 hours) and in Haneda (about 30 min). Yokohama is very close to Tokyo (30 min by train) and is also close to Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. Further information can be obtained from the Yokohama Convention & Visitors Bureau.
